The 10th Rome Film Fest comes back as a great party. For ten days, the building designed by the Italian architect Renzo Piano will be its centre but not only. The Fest will involve the rest of the Capital city and the MAXXI museum as well.

Una magia saracena
directed by NVincenzo Stango
(Italy, 2015, 90′)

In a future in which the society is completely digitized, power is in the hands of a brilliant but heartless leader who has managed to bring most of mankind under
his control. A group of rebels (called ‘the foolish’) tries to oppose his rule. Their own leader Leonardo lands in prison, where, when he isn’t being questioned by the police, he starts to create his own history of mathematics. Euclid, Archimede, Pythagorus, Descartes and Fibonacci all come to life, revealing the myriad connections between art and mathematics.
