more information

A meeting to discuss the complexity of renovation and modernisation projects in cultural venues.

These are often very complex operations that, in most cases, involve historic and heritage-listed buildings. This talk is part of a cycle of lectures started by Galleria Borghese with the Director of the National Gallery in London, Gabriele Finaldi, who presented the National Gallery extension project to highlight the importance of construction work, including structural ones that occur inside cultural venues.

This event is attended by the Warburg Institute of London Director, Bill Sherman, for an insight into the results of the recently completed work on creating a new gallery where the exciting history of the institute, between memory and migration, is presented.
