After its first decade’s achievements, the Museum is now laying the foundations for the future in the name of sustainability, inclusion and innovation.
The themes celebrated in the event focus on how a cultural institution should perform in designing a sustainable future, transforming and challenging itself as an open platform where Art, Architecture, Science, Circular Economy, and Artificial Intelligence will cooperate for the sake of the whole community.
Philosophers, social scholars, and creatives are part of the panels meant to further fuel this process, turning MAXXI into one of the privileged platforms for realising the objectives defined by the New European Bauhaus.
A conversation between European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen and Pritzker Prize winner Francis Kéré – introduced by the Italian Minister for Cultural Heritage Dario Franceschini and the Fondazione MAXXI President Giovanna Melandri – closes the event.
