Viennese artist Rita Sabo presents twelve paintings and eighteen sculptures showing the seventeen sustainable development goals of the 2030 Agenda of the United Nations, with the aim of raising awareness of the urgency of its implementation. In terms of both content and form, Sabo’s exhibited works revolve around the theme of sustainability, with the Earth as a sacred and therefore untouchable planet at the centre. Sabo’s kaleidoscopic, colourful works, which are composed of geometric shapes and ancient symbols, celebrate life.

The centrepiece of the exhibition is the sculpture ‘Sacred Planet’, a meaningful symbol created by Rita Sabo, which shows the dignity and inviolability of the Earth in the form of a planet. It is surrounded by two rings that symbolise the continuous flow of energy. In this way, she expresses her vision of holistic, global sustainability. She has thus created a contemporary symbol with great relevance and topicality. The ‘Sacret Planet’ appears in seventeen versions in a fleet of different colours that correspond exactly to the colours of the 17 sustainability goals of Agenda-2030.
