Is there a relationship between philosophical thinking on ethics
and the practice of architecture?

In her essay on ethos and architecture, Maria Clara Ghia investigates the relationships an architectural project establishes with the landscape, society and culture in which it is created.

The author explores the disciplinary fields with which architecture interfaces and the concepts of ethics in classical and contemporary thinking, allowing an image of the humanist architect to emerge as a philosophical and productive mind.
This exploration of the architectural panorama concludes by giving voice to ordinary people best suited to taking up the invitation to reinterpret architecture in the contemporary age.
