Thought and poetry live close on distant mountains
Heidegger

Two opportunites to examine the age-old relationship between poetry and thought, between literature and philosophy.                                                                                                                                         To reflect on certain themes that have characterised the culture of modernity: from the questioning of nature and the role of subjectivity to experiences of language as a form of sentiment and reason; from the analysis of the relationships between word, existence, thought and reality to reflection on the problems of consciousness and ethics that have inspired some of the highest aesthetic representations modernity has witnessed.
