Can art as a tool for environmental awareness and sensitisation contribute to protecting our planet? Can Pinus Pinea, our domestic pine tree, become art and inspire new creative perspectives?
The local natural heritage chosen by Videocittà for its contribution to CO-VISION is the Pinus Pinea. This pine tree, with its characteristic umbrella shape, delineates and defines the landscape of the Mediterranean maquis and, in particular, the urban landscape of the Eternal City. It is the undisputed symbol of Italian culture, grandiose and solemn, with an unmistakable smell. In the world, it is known as Italian stone pine and Pin d’Italie.
