The research and thinking of the celebrated American architect and theorist

The #LightOn series curated by iGuzzini and MAXXI returns with a new seminar featuring Peter Eisenman, architect, lecturer and theorist of international fame.

His architectural and planning works along with his extensive theoretical and educational work place him close to conceptual art and deconstructivism in a constant search for a dialogue between opposites and between disciplines apparently far removed from traditional architecture (semantics, linguistics, aesthetics).
Among his architectural works House VI at Cornwall (Connecticut), the Wexner Center for the Arts at Columbus (Ohio), the Holocaust Memorial in Berlin and the City of Culture of Galicia (Santiago de Compostela) are the most representative.

*A free ticket may be picked up from the MAXXI ticket office or downloaded from vivaticket.it (subject to a commission fee of €1.00) from Tuesday 26 September 2017.
