Paolo Icaro’s entire creative career in a thematic presentation shedding light on his poetic from the Sixties through to the present
Paolo Icaro’s research has provided a wholly original contribution to the idioms that developed in the Sixties and Seventies, including Arte Povera, Conceptual Art and Process Art, with a particular emphasis on the renewal of contemporary sculpture.
The monograph Faredisfarerifarevedere edited by Lara Conte, is born out of decades-long research into the works and the materials in the artist’s archive: previously unpublished material, the artist’s writings, a critical anthology and bio-bibliographical apparatus.
