A sonic encounter between strings and electronics: where improvisation becomes pure musical alchemy

Okkyung Lee & Rashad Becker come together in an extraordinary duo, blending Okkyung’s experimental cello improvisations with Rashad’s intricate electronic soundscapes. The result is a constantly evolving dialogue of complex textures and otherworldly resonances.

Okkyung Lee, a South Korean cellist, composer, and improviser, navigates a sonic universe that merges tradition with avant-garde innovation. Rashad Becker, a sound artist and mastering engineer, has worked on over 1200 albums, spanning dance, electronic, and experimental music. Together, they transform sound into an immersive experience.
