Etaoin Shrdlu is an independent Rome–based graphic design studio, founded by Edda Bracchi and Stefano Cremisini.
Focusing on the value of research and contents, by the use of a conceptual but also typographic approach in the graphic design process, ESS works for contemporary architecture and art initiatives.
ESS designs books, exhibitions and identities in a close relationship between technical knowledges and artisanal work.
Since 2014 Etaoin Shrdlu collaborates with MAXXI in exhibition and editorial design.

Federica Pesce obtained a research degree in Arts, Design and New Technologies from La Sapienza University, Rome. She is a founding partner in Melting Pro. Cultural workshop and Melting Pro Learning, for which she plans and manages national and European cultural projects dealing with informal continuous learning and the valorization of territories through the use of multimedia technologies. Her enjoyable challenge is the transformation of information into knowledge passing from digital narrative practices to those associated with social and participative design. She facilitates digital storytelling workshops thanks to the qualification obtained from the StoryCenter, Berkely.

34 non-stop hours and a blend of skills to recharge the museum experience with innovative energy.
Coders, designers, developers, makers, communications experts, startuppers, copywriters, day and night, together for 34 consecutive hours.
Why don’t you take part too? The winning project will be developed with support from MAXXI.
The first edition of Museum Booster, the hackathon targeted to developers, programmers, designers, makers, communication and marketing experts, copywriters, data analysts, and art directors, will take place on 21st and 22nd October. Its aim is to develop ideas and services aimed at reinventing and enhancing museum experiences. It is a great opportunity to meet people who share the same passion for the digital world and new technologies and spend two unforgettable days with them.
The winning project will be developed with the support of the MAXXI, and made available to its visitors for a year!
Coders, designers, developers, makers, communication experts, startuppers, copywriters, art directors, and data analysts interested in technology, innovation and art who might have an interesting idea or project to develop within the framework of the competition.

A jury will assess all quality and level of innovation of the works presented by the teams.
