Museums in Music, now in its second edition, presents free musical events and performances inspired by Mediterranean sonorities in cultural spaces and museums open until late into the night for the events.
On this occasion MAXXI will be extending its opening time through to 2.00 A.M. (last entrance at 1.00 A.M.) and from 8.00 P.M. it will be possible to enter the museum at a reduced tariff.
Moreover, from 9. P.M. to midnight, the Nuance duo will be presenting
Un’arpa e una voce / A Harp and a voice
Elisabetta Antonini, voice and live electronics
Marcella Carboni, harp and live electronics
Museum Hall – free admittance to the concert
A play of subtle shades and references embracing jazz and popular song, classical sounds and improvisation. “Nuance”, the duo composed of Elisabetta Anonini and Marcella Carboni, is striking for the range and richness of its timbres from which emerges the intention of retaining a balance between the delicacy of velvety sound and the complexity of sophisticated compositions.
Museums in Music is a project by Coopculture, Paolo Damiani, Director of the Santa Cecilia Conservatoire Jazz Department and ISMEZ.
