Three seminars with readings and reflections on the craft of writing

One of the most prestigious and sought-after Italian literary prizes that for almost 70 years has inflamed cultural passions and debates, for some writers the Premio Strega has represented the consecration of a long career while for others it has acted as a powerful trampoline. Accompanied by Stefano Petrocchi, director of the Fondazione Bellonci, the prize-winning authors – Maurizio Maggiani, Tiziano Scarpa and Paolo Giordano – reflect on the craft of writing in the light of the watershed that winning the prize has represented for them.

In the first seminar we shall be meeting Maurizio Maggiani, the winner in 2005 of the Premio Strega, with his latest book, L’amore (Giangiacomo Feltrinelli Editore 2018).
