MAXXI B.A.S.E. – free admittance
MAXXI B.A.S.E. is pursuing its cultural programme with a seminar devoted to Three Star Books, publishers of artist’s books, presented by the curator and artist’s books editor Cornelia Lauf, the artist, musician and film director Christophe Boutin and the artist and photo editor Veronica Bellei.
Founded in 2007, the publishing house is well known for its prestigious limited edition books-cum-works of art, realised in close cooperation with the artists.
Works published to date include: Maurizio Cattelan, The Three Qattelan, a book sculpture by Tobias Rehberger, 88 Maps by Matt Mullican and Fetish, an extraordinary combination of art and pornography realised by Heimo Zobernig.
The following have published with Three Star Books: Liam Gillick, Alison Knowles, Ken Lum, Jonathan Monk, Olivier Mosset, Simon Starling, Haim Steinbach, Rirkrit Tiravanija and Lawrence Weiner.
