Le ConversazioniJonathan Safran Foerwith Antonio Monda
Green is a colour that can evoke life, hope, and freedom, but it can also evoke melancholy, anger, envy, and jealousy.
Green is the colour of which the human eye perceives the most significant number of shades because it is the colour of chlorophyll and, thus, of the plant habitat. Green is a colour in itself ambiguous, or at least ambivalent, like the human soul. And it is also the most challenging colour because it transforms symbolically and in our imagination.
