Meeting Yuri Ancarani

MAXXI Auditorium – admittance free

The works of Yuri Ancarani – visual artist, director and lecturer in video art at Naba in Milan – are born out of a continual fusion between art and documentary film and are frequently characterised by a narration that explores places that generally enjoy little visibility and a number of key issues in out contemporaneity that have yet to be analysed. His works have been presented in numerous exhibitions and national and international museums.

The evening will feature the screening of the films Trilogia sul lavoro (Il capo, Piattaforma luna and Da Vinci) and San Siro a shortlisted work for the MAXXI Prize 2014 that was added to the museum’s permanent collection thanks to the donation by the Friends of MAXXI.
