A meeting dedicated to an in-depth examination of the works and authors selected for the videogallery exhibition No Master Territories: Feminist Worldmaking and the Moving Image.
The curator of the exhibition, Erika Balson, in conversation with Ilaria Gianni, independent curator, will tell the audience about the themes that characterise the three sections of the film screening, the new languages representing the gender experience that matured between the 1970s and the 1990s, the different expressions and ways of using the moving image by artists, directors, filmmakers, collectives, linked to feminist activism but also distant from any social or political alignments.
