The story of an unprecedented experiment

A film by Valerio Jalongo
distributed by Officine UBU, 2017. 75′

The Sense of Beauty is the story of an unprecedented experiment that involves scientists from throughout the world collaborating around the largest machine ever constructed by human beings: the LHC (Large Hadron Collider).
Delineating the close relationship that exists between art and science, the documentary film narrates, in parallel, the search for truth shared by the scientists at CERN and contemporary artists, all listening to an elusive sixth or seventh sense: beauty.

There will be a discussion with the filmmaker, Valerio Jalongo, after the screening.
