The value of play in the arts helps to understand the spectacularization and illusion of artistic language. On the occasion of the Paola Pivi. World Record exhibit.
The dimension of pleasure, play, fun, excess, provocation and, therefore, denunciation, are central components in the artistic production of all time. Starting from these themes scholars, art historians, sociologists and anthropologists animate a debate on the value of playing in the art to understand how spectacularization and the illusion of artistic language can transform reality into a subtle appearance where everything is possible.
