The arrival of spring se es the revival of Critical Tuesdays, the seminars with the protagonists of the contemporary art scene, now in their fifth season. Following a tried and trusted formula, the guests are interviewed in public by Alberto Dambruoso and Guglielmo Gigliotti.
After his experience as a painter in Taranto, Carrino moved to Rome in 1962 where he founded Gruppo 1 with Nato Frascà, Gastone Biggi, Achille Pace, Pasquale Santoro and Giuseppe Uncini.
The artist proposes a form of customizable sculpture, transformable over time, born out the need to create a form capable of evolving in relation to the place in which it is set.

A lecturer in sculpture at the Academies of Fine Arts through to 1992, in 1971 he was awarded the sculpture prize at the XI Biennale of Sao Paulo in Brazil. He has participated in diverse editions of the Biennales in Venice, Paris and Sao Paulo and the Quadriennale in Rome.
