Antonino Saggio’s critical biography analyses the cultural formation, political commitment and the last tragic years of the great 20th-century architect’s life.

Giuseppe Terragni was one of the first to incorporate Cubist derivation’s dynamic tension and the profound revolution of transparency. He grasped the aesthetic meaning of less is more and admired Le Corbusier, Mies, Gropius, and Mendelsohn. He fought as a man of culture and builder for a new aesthetic and a functional study of installations. He experimented with the technical and expressive outcomes of reinforced concrete.
