The 10th Rome Film Fest comes back as a great party. For ten days, the building designed by the Italian architect Renzo Piano will be its centre but not only. The Fest will involve the rest of the Capital city and the MAXXI museum as well.

Pojkarna
directed by Alexandra-Therese Keining
(Sweden, 2015, 104′)

As they seek to find themselves, three teenage girls, Kim, Bella and Momo, are being bullied by their companions. Surrounded by a dark world of teenage violence, marginalization and sexual confusion, the girls have only each other to count on. A seismic shift occurs when they discover a curious plant with magical and mysterious qualities: when they drink its nectar the girls are temporarily transformed into boys. What changes radically is not just their gender but the world around them and their response to it. Echoing with distant notes of Lewis Carroll and H.C. Andersen, this is a magical, almost psychedelic story from Sweden with an unsettling turn of events.
