The second edition of Contemporamente, MAXXI’s season of events featuring the leading figures of 21st Century arts and culture: from the pianist Michele Campanella to the director Francesca Archibugi, from the writer Niccolò Ammaniti to the jazzman Stefano Bollani and through to the journalist Giovanni Minoli: ten encounters, five before the summer and five in the autumn, exploring the themes of “contemporaneity”.
Thursday 21 June, 20.15
Giovanni Minoli and Aldo Cazzullo
MAXXI Auditorium
Admittance €4; free for holders of the my MAXXI membership card
In the frontline of television news and current affairs reporting for over 30 years, Giovanni Minoli has brought together in the book La Storia sono loro, written with his right-hand man Piero Corsini, threes decades worth of interviews with the world’s greats. For Minoli, contemporaneity cannot exist without in-depth knowledge of the past, as the present is the result of history.
On this occasion Minoli will be meeting the journalist and writer Aldo Cazzullo, one of the Corriere della Sera’s most popular columnists.
