MAXXI has organised a day of study within the framework of the exhibition dedicated to Maria Lai on the occasion of the centenary of her birth. Said event, which will be entrusted to the words of critics and intellectuals, will be aimed at deepening the artist’s complex and fascinating career and retracing her life and research by analysing the compositional and poetic processes underlying the two macro-themes that typified her work: Being and Weaving.
