A cycle of events on the occasion of the exhibition The Street. Where the world is made

The Street is the setting where most of our daily life takes place: from work to economic exchanges to street food, the functions, identities, and cultures concentrating in this place – which is often the object and subject of creative interventions – are numerous.

Starting from these thoughts, Franco La Cecla, anthropologist and author of the book Babel Food. Contro il cibo kultura, Umberto Montano, President of Mercato Centrale Roma, and Kotaro Noda, Michelin-starred chef who made of cultural fusion a pivotal feature of his cuisine, debate on how the relationship between the cuisine and the territory in the fast food era is changing and on the standardization of traditional cuisines in favour of one global cuisine.
