Bloggokin, Eataly Rome and MAXXI together for the first foodographic social contest!
In recent years, with the growing interest in the world of food, ingredients, dishes and chefs, there has been a similar increase in our desire to share via the social media what we eat, taste, observe and, above all, photograph! How do the food bloggers (in this case those based in Rome) interpret the specific theme of food in photography?
Are you ready to shoot?
What’s involved?
#FOODOGRAFIA is the first “foodographic social contest and features Food Bloggers from throughout Rome. All you need to do is photograph and share. Allow yourself to be inspired by the themes, seize the moment and immortalize it.
How do I take part?
To participate you need to write a food blog, follow the themes proposed and take a photo that represents them. The photo should be sent to the email address foodografia@bloggokin.it, indicating: Your name, surname and blog address. You should also declare in the body of the mail that you accept the regulations. The photos should be your personal property and each entrant should indicate in the mail the owner of the photograph that must not have already been published on the web or used for other contests or projects.
When
The contest will last for three months, from 1 September to 30 November 2015. Each month will be divided into two phases, the first (from the 1st to the 15th of each month) will be devoted to the delivery of the photos, while the second (from the 16th to the end of each month) will be devoted to the voting. The photos sent to the mail address specified above will be uploaded to an album on the Bloggokin Facebook page from the 16th of the month, while on Instagram the photos will be posted directly by the entrants on the 16th of the month only (under penalty of exclusion from the competition) with the following tags and hashtags: @eatalygram @bloggokin #foodografia #eatalyroma
The themes
Each month will have a different theme inspired by the exhibition FOOD dal cucchiaio al mondo. open at MAXXI through to 8 November 2015.
September: On the road: road and food
October: Food and the future: Technology in the
November: The family meal: When flavour becomes
Each entrant may participate with a single photograph for each theme.
The finale
Each month the photo that receives the most likes will be declared the winner and will go on to the finale in December. The three food bloggers who reach the final will fight it out in December in the kitchens of Eataly Rome and will be paired with the three finalists in the competition “Chef for a day” held this year in the Rome store. In the final competition all participants will be given the same ingredients and asked to create the most original, creative and tasty recipe.
The prizes
In the end there will be a single winning couple. The two winners will receive a gift pack from Eataly Rome crammed with food products. All entrants will instead be offered two museum entrance tickets by MAXXI.
The jury
The competition will be judged by a jury composed of representatives from Bloggokin, Eataly and MAXXI.
