Two Lithuanian artists, one homage/junction between the expressive practices of both, through the vision of a multi-layered space.

Inspired by their shared interest in the possible connections between art and science and combining elements of Kasuba’s creative legacy, Emilija Skarnulyte develops a possible creative dialogue as a series of infinite existing and imaginary connections.

Emilija Škarnulytė (Vilnius, 1987) is a Lithuanian-born artist and filmmaker. Moving between documentary and fiction, her video works take viewers through decommissioned nuclear power plants, deep-sea data storage units, forgotten underwater cities and disturbing natural phenomena. Škarnulytė is co-founder and co-director of Polar Film Lab, a collective dedicated to analogue filmmaking based in Tromsø, Norway, and is a member of the artistic duo New Mineral Collective.

In collaboration with the Embassy of the Republic of Lithuania in Italy and the Lithuanian Culture Institute. The videogallery is powered by Fondazione In Between Art Film.
