Wheat is the focus for the work of the collective FutureFarmers in collaboration with Ilaria Gadenz and Tiziano Bonini and presented by Pollinaria, a biological farm and a residence for artists in the Abruzzo countryside. The Independent_Food will be housing a stage of the Consortium Instabile project, devoted to the theme of rurality and presented through the medium of radio (in collaboration with Radio Papesse).
Experimental architecture, radio programmes, research and collective action focussed on the rural context of the Abruzzo region.
On 3 and 4 October exponents of the agricultural firm and the artistic and scientific community are invited to record and share in live streaming on radiopapesse.org their opinions regarding issues relating to sustainable methods of cultivation and the future prospects of the rural environment. At the end of the radio sessions, the audio material collected will be archived and made available for visitors to listen to for the remaining duration of the exhibition.
