Festival of ComplexityEmerging art: words, images and social networks

Graziella Lonardi Buontempo Hall – admittance free while places available

Every image – as the most up-to-date methods of artistic research tell us – is a node in a complex and open web of links and traces that involve the distant past, present individual experience and the social networks that continually reconfigure themselves.

An evening of conversation and participatory play

The public is involved in the shared creation of a “bottom up” description of significant images from the history of art.

The curators of the evening, basing themselves on theoretical studies, on workshops and on the experiences that led to the creation of current image recognition software, work with the public on the network of intelligences and the experiences of individuals.

A path that from the image leads to its description and the graphic and semantic processing of a cloud (of words) that is gradually composed over the course of the evening, thanks to the resonance between the intertwining experiences of the participants.
