A worldwide preview opens the Extra Doc Festival section: the documentary by Luca Rea, in collaboration with Maria Pia Ammirati and Andrea Di Consoli (Italy, 2019, 60’) dedicated to the 55 days that changed the trajectory of post-war Italy, those of the imprisonment of Aldo Moro.
Those who believe they saw all or much of the RAI coverage from the period will discover that it was only the tip of the iceberg, with the vast majority of the material, as this film reveals, still below the surface. Luca Rea, Maria Pia Ammirati and Andrea Di Consoli synchronize the story with an operation of analysis and comparison that deconstructs the media “amalgam” of an event for which nobody was prepared.
