Greenpeace30 years and still getting our heads together

Corner D – admittance free

A photographic exhibition celebrating 30 years of Greenpeace in Italy

In 1986, just after the Cernobyl nuclear disaster, David McTaggart – one of the founders of Greenpeace International – opened together with the first group of volunteers a small office in Rome, close to the Circo Massimo. 30 years lived to the full and in which Greenpeace Italia has participated in all the organization’s major campaigns: for the forests, the oceans, sustainable agriculture and clean energy, against climate change and pollution and for a future of peace.

Hence the title of this photographic exhibition 30 years and still getting our heads together: a selection of the best, most representative and most iconic photos of Greenpeace activities in Italy, which inaugurates at MAXXI its tour that will continue in other Italian cities.
