Published on the occasion of the MAXXI’s exhibition, the volume documents the collective show devoted to the fourteen winning projects from the last two editions of the competition promoted by the Italian Council and MiBACT. Photographs, videos, sculptures and multimedia installations reflect on the contradictions of our society, drawing a vivid portrait of the Italian art scene in recent years. In addition to the institutional texts and an essay by the curators, the volume includes descriptions of the award-winning works and a rich iconographic apparatus with shots of the authors portraying the works inside MAXXI and other exhibition contexts.
