This volume, the seventh in the Nature series edited by Margherita Guccione, was designed entirely by Mario Botta and narrates the Architect’s thoughts and long professional career through some of his most important works. Exploring the macro themes of the sacred and the profane, the publication presents eleven projects Botta realised in detail from the 1980s to the present day. It offers a glimpse of the figures influencing his production and career. A rich iconographic apparatus accompanies the reflections of the Architect and relevant personalities of the Italian academic and cultural scene.
